Veruca

We got Veruca from a local reptile expo. She was bred by Crestopia Reptiles LLC out of Fata Morgana and Ukigumo. It is believed that she hatched in 2017. She is a very sweet girl to humans and after initial jumpies she mellows out and will sit and hang out until she gets spooked. Her favorite spot is her branch pressed up against the top mesh. She also likes hanging from the leaves of rubber trees.

Veruca is a person gecko and isn’t a fan of other geckos. When Ferris Bueller was introduced to her, she bit him. He ran away and wasn’t interested in the angry lady so I offered Wicken a chance. Wicken bit her, she bit him, and he fell down. I thought he was going to give up and while licking his bit face the crazy man looked back up at Veruca and lunged onto her back. She swung her mouth around trying to bite him again but he refused to let go until she finally submitted to him. I don’t think any of my other geckos have the balls to take on Veruca.
